Privacy Policy

General

To the best of my ability, this website respects your privacy. There are no ads, so there’s no bombardment of unnecessary promotions. However, I use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors interact with the site, so Google may collect anonymized data on things like which pages get visited, the general location of visitors, and other aggregated insights. Nothing here tracks names, addresses, or any personal identity markers.

Since this site is powered by WordPress.org, this means that some standard cookies or tracking mechanisms can be present. It’s primarily to support site functionality and improve user experience, but if you have questions or concerns about this policy, feel free to reach out via e-mail: contact@vitorzanetti.com.

Aditionally, any comment left here has the possibility to save a name and email in cookies. This is an attempt by WordPress to make things easier, so that there is no need to re-enter information at each new comment. These cookies stick around for a year.

When login page is visited, a temporary cookie will be set to check if your browser accepts cookies and doesn’t store personal data and disappears when you close your browser. After logging-in, cookies will save login details and screen display settings. These login cookies last for two days, and the screen options stick around for a year. If the “Remember Me” box is checked, login will last two weeks. Logging out will remove the login cookies.

Visitor comments might get routed through an automated spam detection service. This helps keep things clean and prevents spam from clogging up the site.
